Steading Cottage on Thirlestane Farm

Steading Cottage is a spacious centrally heated cottage in the Scottish Borders. The Cottage has a large sitting room and open fire, a dining room, three double bedrooms, bathroom with shower over the bath and a newly fitted kitchen. The kitchen has an electric oven & hob, microwave, fridge and dishwasher, table and dresser. There is a utility room with washing machine, tumble drier and freezer and the cottage has a further utility area ideal for outdoor clothing, boots, bicycles and logs. There is an attic room/ playroom with a further two single beds.

The accommodation also has an enclosed garden along with its own private parking area.

Steading Cottage is situated behind Thirlestane Farmhouse, beside the farm and stables and close to the A697 and the A68 passing through Lauder.

As with Thirlestane Farmhouse (bed and breakfast accommodation) the cottage is strictly non smoking. Dogs are allowed by arrangement.

Rent includes bed linen, electricity & fuel for the open fire (logs & coal).
